Conscious Connected Breathwork

Nervous system–informed breathwork for rest, clarity, release and reconnection.

About Alison

Alison McDougall is a Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) and Sound Meditation Facilitator with a background in happiness studies and wholebeing education. Her approach is nervous system–informed, weaving breath and sound as awareness practices that invite us to listen more deeply to the subtle language of the body.

Based in the Orkney Islands, Alison facilitates group breathwork sessions, private 1:1 sessions, and retreats, often in collaboration with Luna Tribe and local artists to offer creative practice for integration.

Her work offers space to pause, soften, and reconnect; supporting gentle transformation through breath, movement, sound, stillness, nature and art.

After a decade in digital product leadership, Alison realigned her life through studies in the Science of Wholebeing with Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar. Breathwork became a key tool she used to move through grief, stuck emotions, major life transitions, and to reconnect with the felt sense of being here in the now.

regrow is the outcome of Alison's life experiences, learning, purpose, dreams and commitment to lifelong learning.

What is Conscious Connected Breathwork?

Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is a gentle yet powerful breathing practice that uses a continuous, flowing breath: connecting the inhale and exhale without pause.

This style of breathing can help to:

  • balance the nervous system
  • release stored emotional tension
  • support emotional processing and insight
  • deepen connection to the body
  • create a sense of rest, clarity, and spaciousness

By maintaining a connected breath, we access expanded states of awareness where insight and emotional shifts can unfold naturally.

No previous experience is needed, just curiosity, openness, and presence.

If you have a medical condition, please reach out before booking. Modifications are always available. Your safety and comfort come first.

For Your Safety

Breathwork can be deeply supportive, but it is not a replacement for medical or psychological care. Alison works in a trauma-aware, consent-led, nervous system-informed way, and you are always invited to go at your own pace.

If you’re unsure whether breathwork is right for you, please reach out. A conversation is always welcome.
