our mission

To build and share accessible wellbeing spaces and co-develop effective wholebeing programs that support both individual and collective thriving.

We are in the process of creating our first children's story and sensory craft product. We tested the wet felting craft with around twenty humans aged 3-70. We did this through workshops in partnership with Durham Art Gallery, when visiting friends with children, dinner + craft evenings with friends and most recently during the retreat program testing.

  • programs

Our programs aim to promote preventative health and wellbeing by fostering a culture of care for oneself, others, and the environment. Guided by a combination of the SPIRE framework for personal wellbeing (Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Relational, Emotional) developed by Dr. Tal Ben Shahar and expanded collective wellbeing principles from Dr. Isaac Prilleltensky, the program emphasizes fairness and worthiness. This holistic approach ensures that individuals and communities have accessible and effective tools to thrive.

Through the Island Wellbeing Project, we co-developed and tested a community wellbeing program with the 300-person island community of Shapinsay, Orkney.

In partnership with the Bluffs Food Bank and a local Toronto artist we hosted a free art club in the Birchcliff community. The theme of our first art club was permission to be human. All emotions are legitimate and an acceptable part of being human. Participants visually depicted their interpretation of this theme.

  • spaces

We shared our space in Toronto with a 20-person film crew, music artists and many other creators who were looking for low-cost spaces to pursue their passions and dreams. We continue to partner with inclusive and low-cost community spaces and provide scouting and hosting services.

In partnership with Tern 360, a social enterprise, we are designing a multi-fuel source mobile sauna for the Shapinsay Community. Read our evolving proposal here.

In partnership with the Shapinsay Men's Shed, a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organization, we have co-developed a vision to create a safe and supportive community shed space where people can share ideas and skills, and engage in meaningful, fun, creative and interesting projects that support individual and collective wellbeing.

retreat: the art of slowing down

While the demands of our realities often encourage us to speed up and increase productivity, regrow retreats encourage slowing down through comfortable spaces, the natural environment, activities we offer and flexible schedules we promote.

Slowing down is scientifically beneficial to our overall well-being, decision-making processes, and ability to live in the present moment. It helps reduce stress, improves mental clarity, promotes mindfulness, and enhances our relationships and physical health. Incorporating moments of slowness into our daily lives can lead to a more fulfilling and balanced existence.

Our retreats provide a safe and supportive space and community for you to take care of your wholebeing (spiritual, physical, intellectual, relational and emotional). We encourage you to write your own story; try a new experience, rest in stillness, nourish your body with healthy foods, explore a creative outlet, gently move your body, bathe in nature, connect with others, share a skill, and spend time thinking, writing or talking about your thoughts, emotions, needs, desires, curiosities, hopes and dreams.

Our retreats provide opportunities for you to gain a deeper understanding of your individual needs and pathways to thriving, while also offering space to practice taking care of your whole being.

"The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us and we only know them when they are gone."

- George Eliot
